A Sleepover at J’s

I packed my 5*5 Rubik’s cube and my backpack and left home for Jonathan’s for a sleepover. We have planned to do so since the beginning of the summer. Now, at the end of the summer, we finally made it.

There were too many things that we would like to do together. As a starter, we went to play soccer for approximately 5 minutes, at Jonathan’s little back yard. But the ground was too wet and there were a lot of flies flying around. We stopped soon after and went inside watching Spider-Man I for 10 minutes until the dinner started.

After dinner it was Mario time! J has the old Mario Kart. We did a VS SOLO of 12 races, but we did not even finish it, instead, we headed to Jonathan’s grandparents’ house.

At their house, we watched some TV and played Little Alchemy. I like this game. It’s where you need to combine two things together and create another thing. There are like 500 objects to make  and discover. It is a good crafting game.

We also went for a movie afterwards. We had the choice to watch Pixel, Ant-man or Minions. I chose Pixel and Jonathan said:”whatever, it doesn’t bother me.”  So his vote did not count-  The movie was better than what I expected. it’s some video games replicates that invade earth and some arcades (playing video games) that attack them with light cannons. Everything that explodes becomes cubes like pixels.

We went to a Mexican restaurant (Carlos & Pepe’s) for dinner, in the centropolis center, where, if I remember well, there is a mini-golf place called “Putting edge”, where we celebrated Jonathan’s birthday.

The restaurant is a big place, although it looks like a smaller place from outside. Music was super-loud. I even thought there might be a band playing on a stage.  Then I noticed that the music actually came from multiple speakers.    We took a table of 6.  From my spot, I can see on the TV (there were a  lot of TVs) a football match. That was practically what I did during the entire dinner. I ordered something in the children’s menu. But did not know the size can be that small.  I was still hungry after and ate up those chips with the sauce.   The waiter gave me and Jonathan a free cup of juice.  Pineapple juice is always welcome in summer no matter it is free or not.

One thing that I need to mention is the washroom. Why do I mention this? Because the handle of the washroom door is a double-barreled shotgun. I was not sure about the name but it looked like it.  No need to explain this, but the shotgun is locked to the door and disable for Safety.  What a restaurant! That is one the coolest things in it.

We returned home and went to sleep. Jonathan slept quite well. I did not. It was a little bit strange to sleep in that place and like that.  I fell sleep very late and woke up earlier than J.

The next day we played video games.  I am surprised how short we have spent time playing video games this weekend!  That was an awesome weekend!
