From time to time, we “take a “stay-cation” instead of a vacation”. Pretty standard in Montreal. One of our favourite spots is the Old Port of Montreal. I always want to have an intense biking trip along the river; but never got the chance to do it. Maybe later this year-
“The Old Port of Montreal (French: Vieux-Port de Montréal) is the historic port of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located in Old Montreal, it stretches for over two kilometres along the St-Lawrence River in Old Montreal. It was used as early as 1611, when French fur traders used it as a trading post.” Now it is a recreational and historical area and draws six million tourists annually.
That is how we introduce the Old Port to our friends and guests from outside Quebec.
Obviously, there’s a ton of activities happening in the Old Port alone.
Qiuyu has visited the Science Centre for several times. Not interested any more.
We have been there fishing, walking, boating and for lots of other things.
You wanna defy gravity from the top of the tower? Wanna take yourself to the limit and bust out of your comfort zone through sheer force of will?
NOOOOOO- definitely not for me!

Qiuyu wants to try another day. Well. Why not?
But we can try jumping from the TRILINE TOWER, like this: screaming, sweating and swinging to the other side:
I believe this is not that horrifying. The photographer (ME, of course) is awesome, you even can see the flying man and flying bird flying together to the other side.
Or wondering along the river, being frightened by this skeleton guy:
For the record, this guy is NOT real.
Or boating like this sweet couple: so sweet to just smile and enjoy love: it makes people around them smile too.
Two men, leading the direction; I, with the not so comfortable wound, sitting in the back:
Boating is great for young kids:
Now, it is time to play Voiles en Voiles: which comes with the aerial adventure courses, climbing courses and inflatable playground:
Slow down, Miss!
This picture reminds me of the movie “Lone Ranger”:
We will go back again soon for sure.
